The Xbox One will release in the UK (and twelve other territories) on 22 November 2013, Microsoft announced today.
This means it will come out a week before Sony’s PS4 in most of the world, the exception being the US where it releases a week before the Xbox One on November 15th.
Despite an initial poor reception from gamers, Microsoft’s new console appears to be selling well pre-release, with GAME claiming the only remaining way to guarantee a console on launch day is to pre-order the £615 Call Of Duty: Prestige Edition bundle. The normal edition of the console will sell at £429.99 and is still available to pre-order from Currys.
Cashing in on the Xbox One may not however be a necessity for Xbox fans, Microsoft claimed earlier today that the Xbox 360 will be supported for three more years and currently has over one hundred games in development.
